Itachi Sensei

Chapter 7

After Naruto gained full control over the Kyuubi's chakra, he went on to tell Itachi all about his encounter with his parents. He explained to Itachi about the masked man who ripped the Kyuubi out of its seal, and used it to attack Konoha.

Itachi immediately identified the masked man as Madara, or Tobi. Afterwards, the two went on to train with Naruto's new nine tails chakra mode.

They found it to be a double edged sword, where Naruto would have access to the full power of the nine tails, but could not use it forever as the fox could take Naruto's own chakra.

Naruto was super fast in nine-tails chakra mode, as Itachi could barely even see him with his sharingan. Naruto also found that he had a new ability which was to sense negative emotions.

Over the past few months Naruto completed his training with Itachi, as he got stronger and stronger. He got to the point where he is now, and that Itachi is only about to beat him about half the time in their spars, and that's only if he uses genjutsu.

As their training came to a close, Itachi decided to have one last meal with Naruto before he went back to Konoha.

"The Akatsuki will move in a week." Said Itachi as the two ate breakfast.

"Finally decided to come out of hiding?" Questioned Naruto.

For the past few years, the members of the Akatsuki had all been ordered to go into hiding by their leader, Pain. This is why Itachi was able to train Naruto.

Itachi nodded, "Leader-sama has ordered Deidara and Sasori to capture Gaara."

Itachi had informed Naruto of everything he knew about the Akatsuki, this included all of their members.

"Gaara is the Kazekage, he won't go down without a fight." Stated Naruto.

"Indeed" Agreed Itachi, "But I believe your training has come to an end. Before you go Naruto, I have some things to ask of you."

"What?"

"First, no one can know that you and I even saw each other. If the Hokage is to ask who you trained under, you cannot tell her that it was me. She most likely does not know the truth behind the Uchiha massacre, as the elders do not fully cooperate with her."

"Secondly, I ask that you and Sasuke become friends again. I know my foolish little brother tried to kill you, but that is my fault. I ask that you at least try to become friends again."

"Lastly, I ask that you keep in communication with me, and send a toad to the hideout to communicate when you can."

Naruto thought over all this, before he gave his trademark grin, "Don't worry Itachi-sensei, I can do it."

Itachi smiled at Naruto's antics, "Then I believe it is time for you to go."

Later That Day - Konoha

On the road leading to Konoha's main gates, we find Naruto. His appearance had changed a lot over the years. He now had flat red hair, a black headband, and he still had his whisker marks. He wore black shinobi pants and sandals, along with a gray and black jacket with an Uzumaki swirl on the back. On his back he wore his red and black Sage cape, along with the Uzumaki Scroll of Seals and his katana.

As he reached the main gate, he looked out over Konoha. The village had not changed a lot over the years, yet he noticed that Tsunade's face was now on the Hokage mountain.

As he stood there admiring the view, he heard the gate guards calling out to him, so he walked over.

"Name?" Questioned Kotetsu.
