The scent of lavender and tulips filled the flower shop, emitting a soft, homey feel to the building. Outside were bird feeders hanging from the gutters, which the humming birds took accustom to. Boquettes and baskets littered the shop with a bright, happy feel to them, just waiting to be chosen for a particular person.
That is where Park Jimin works as a part time job to help his father with Bill's. His father was a happy, easygoing guy who works at the nearby cafe selling baked goods and coffee. Though, as happy as they are, they struggle to get enough money for food most days.
The blonde took a deep breath in as he fixed the hem of his yellow dress shirt, so it would fold nicely under his green apron.
Jimin liked working at the peaceful shop. He finds himself lucky his manager let him work there. After school, work seemed to bring him to peace, as weird as it may seem. He loathes in the comfort of the building.
He smiles as he takes a look around, standing behind the counter where the cash register sat. He catches sight of the plant he had been watching over for at least 2 days. Though, it was barely a sprout, he still couldnt help himself from looking at the vase, wondering what beauty the flower would emit. His manager had given it to him for being a kind soul, who didnt tell him what it was called. Only leaving a hint that the plant reminded him of the blonde. The baby sprout had sparked Jimins curiosity.
His attention shot to the door, the bell just above the door signaling someone had entered the shop. Jimins eyes landed on a taller, brown haired boy, who's features was similar to a bunny's. He watched the bunny boy as he walked towards the daffodils. He smiled before walking towards the counter, getting shy.
"Hello, do you know where I can sign up for an interview?" Said the brunette. Jimin watches as the other played with his hands.
"You can fill these out. Here." Jimin says, reaching under the counter for a paper and pen. The other fills out the paper, handing it back when he was done. "Here."
Jimin bowed in respect before putting it to the side, the bunny boy immediately bowing right after. He clears his throat.
"You look familiar, where do you go to school?" The brunette asks. Jimin hesitates.
"I go to BHH."
The brunette nods, "I thought so." He smiles.
Bunny smile.
"My name is Jimin," the blonde says, putting his hand in from of him for the bunny boy to shake. He takes his hand, "Jungkook."
They hastily take their hands back, shaking the awkwardness off.
"I hope you get the job, Jungkook."
"Me too."
Jungkook turns away and walks out the door, waving goodbye.
Jimin waves back, smiling a bit.
*two days later*
--------------------------------------------------
Jimin sat in science class, doodling little flowers around his page, taking notes every now and then. A finger from beside him taps his shoulder, glancing at a wide smiling boy named Taehyung."Namjoon and Seokjin Hyung and I are going to skip next period, do you want to join?"
Jimin rolls his eyes knowing his hyungs will ditch the two and make out in the bathrooms, but he agreed anyways. He turned back to his page and continued doodling.
Jungkook awoke by his mother. "Kookie your late! Get up get up!" Jungkook panics, throwing the blankets off him and hurriedly got dressed, brushed his teeth, fixed his bed head, and ran out the door with his jacket and backpack.
He passed orange, red, and yellow leaved trees, the cold wind whipping at his face as he ran to the school. When he arrived he opened the doors to a familiar face yet again. He and Jimin made full eye contact, Jungkook wondered why the blonde wasnt in class.
"Oh, hey Jungkook," says the shorter of the two.
"Hello, why arent you in class, Jimin-ssi?"
"Oh, I'm skipping."
Jungkook raised his eyebrow, "you don't seem like one to skip classes."
"I normally dont, but if my friends ask I'll go with," Jimin explains.
"Ok, well I'm going to head to class, see you at work Jimin-ssi!" The brunette runs waving his hand goodbye once again.
"Jimin Hyung! Why are you so slow?"
"I know taekwondo, don't tempt me Tae!"
*after school*
---------------------------------------------Jimin exits the school, but turns around after hearing a voice call from behind him.
"Jimin-ssi! Wait up!" Jungkook tells running towards the blonde.
"Hey Kook, what's up?"
The bunny boy blushes at the nickname, fiddling with his fingers like the other day. "I wanted to ask if I could walk with you to work." He says shyly.
Jimin chuckles a bit, "of course Kook! You can always walk to work with me."
The bunny boy meekly smiles.
They set off to the flower shop, asking questions about each other as they ventured on.
The two learned that Jimin was older than the other and the younger promised to put Hyung after his name from now on.
Jimin learned that the brunette liked to draw and asked to see his drawing someday. While Jungkook learned that Jimin liked to bake since his mother always baked peanut butter cookies with him when he was younger. The two agreed on going to Jimins fathers bakery after work.
They finally arrive at the flower shop, aura painted with yellow, purple, and blue.
'I wonder what today's work will be like with Kook'
