"Were you sleeping or what? It took two minutes for you just to open the door." Mi Na huffed lightly and walked inside Chaeyoung's room, putting her purse on the table beside the pan with the ramyeon inside, the sight of the delicious food catching her attention as she turned to look at the girl. "Hungry, eh?" the lady chuckled nonchalantly and lazily sat on the girl's sofa, completely confusing her with her actions.
"Y-yeah....I was hungry.." Chaeyoung stuttered nervously before closing the door, fixing her hair before walking to the lady as she stood in front of her, blocking the TV away from Mi Na's eyes. "W-what are you doin here anyway?" the girl blinked rapidly in a puzzled expression.
"What? I'm not allowed to visit the room I bought for you? How cruel." Mi Na hummed lazily and brushed some strands of her brunette hair off her forehead, relaxing herself.
"Aniya..that's not what I meant." Chaeyoung chuckled apologetically and rubbed her nape.
"I know, I...I just came by to fetch you." Mi Na stated, her voice almost sounding a bit nervous as the lady hid her face away from the girl, leaving her even more blank.
"W-what do you mean?" Chaeyoung furrowed her eyebrows and sat down, continuing to eat the ramyeon she cooked earlier, swallowing it before continuing to look at the lady sitting on the sofa in front of her. Mi Na cleared her throat inaudibly and tried to speak again, clearer this time.
"I said...I'm here to fetch you." she repeated, still hiding her face away from the young girl. It's really as if she was either embarrassed or shy to say it without stuttering.
"Yeah, I heard you clearly alright. What I meant is, what do you mean by fetching me?" Chaeyoung tilted her face, causing Mi Na to blink her eyes rapidly. The lady immediately regained her senses and shook her head frantically to knock herself back to reality from spacing out for too long. She cleared her throat and answered her.
"Well, I forgot to tell you I'm bringing you along with me to the Inn Keeper Celebration." Mi Na spoke casually, but her words were enough to stop Chaeyoung from chewing on her ramyeon as the food fell off her mouth and back into the soup. Chaeyoung stared blankly at Mi Na in pure confusion, her head filled with basically a thousand questions. The girl immediately raised her arms frantically in panic and shook her head.
"A-aniya, I-I can't join you!" Chaeyoung panicked like a scared little kid.
"W-wae?" Mi Na furrowed her eyebrows, her voice sounding a little disappointed from the girl's rejection.
"I-I don't wanna disturb you at all, M-Minari. I'll just bother you and your friends with my presence." Chaeyoung sighed, a slightly visible pout formed on her cute face. "Besides, I'm the only human among the Inn Keepers." she clasped her hands. Mi Na chuckled warmly and patted the girl's head, surprising her.
"Don't forget you're also a Paragon, Chaeyoungie." Mi Na smiled, patting Chaeyoung's shoulder to ease her. "It's okay. I'll stick with you so that you won't feel comfortable. You told me to be social, Chaeyoungie, so this time I'll tell you to be social too." the lady teased her manager. Chaeyoung frowned a little from her words being used against her, but nonetheless, she slowly nodded with a calm smile.
"A-arasseo. I'll come with you." Chaeyoung stated softly.
"Great" Mi Na stood up and patted her head. "Finish your ramyeon or else I'll finish you." she threatened the girl playfully. "Dress whatever you like as long as it's not too revealing. I...don't want other Inn Keepers both male and female to peek my manager." the lady remarked and closed her eyes, pretending to sleep. Chaeyoung widened her eyes and slightly blushed from her boss' seemingly possessive words, but she found them kind of cute and protective too. She smiled and immediately resumed eating her ramyeon.
