Emir was drinking his favorite whiskey in his study room. He could not sleep that night. He cannot forget things that happened between him and Zeynep today.
After 3 long years, she finally back. On top of that, she looked different. She is no longer the reckless and tempestuous Zeynep. She has matured so well that he find her new personality is more charming and attractive.
Today, he saw something different about her. Something that he couldn't describe or crack. There is something that changed her. Something that stopped her from coming to him.
He knew he made a lot of mistakes in the past. He made so many evil deeds that cause people around him to suffer and consequently loose some of them.
After the shot incident, his life was never the same. The news of her miscarriage broke him inside. He had grieved the death of his unborn child silenty. Although he tried to send Zeynep away with his child, deep down he was anticipated about it. He even had a plan to see her with their child in the future. But of course, he could not tell that to Zeynep. It will hurt his pride and ego. He afterall is the great Emir Kozcuoglu, the villain, the devil, and the lonesome.
He couldn't visit her in the hospital because he knows her family would be there to chase him out. It will cause a havoc in the hospital and that was the last thing she needs after the shot. Besides, he also needs to save Nihan from being prison since she adamantly wanted to replace her mom.
Consequently, instead comforting her about the death of their unborn child, he wrote an ordering letter for her to withdraw any charges against Vildan. And that was one of the stupidest actions he had made considering her situation that time.
He knew she was grieving about the whole incident, and in vulnerable state. And yet, he put pressures on her in order to save Nihan. In the end, he did prevented Nihan from replacing her mom, saving Vildan from being prison, send Tarik for Ozan's murder, and saving his sister from the murder's charges.
However, he lost his unborn child and Zeynep cut ties with him forever by leaving Turkey. That is the price he had to pay for being cruel and selfish to Zeynep.
After Zeynep left Turkey, he did not chase or try to find anything about her because he knows she left to cure her broken heart. He knew he had lost her the moment he heard about the miscarriage. In fact, he had lost every right to even face her.
Nihan on the other hand, proceeded with the divorce procedure. Kemal has found a big loop in his company that cause him to almost goes bankrupt. He used this excuse to threaten Emir to divorce Nihan and freeing Deniz forever. So, in order to save his legacy, his dad took all the blame to save him from being prison.
As a result, Kozcuoglu Holding was having the worst and crucial time ever. He had to sold his shares to save the company from being bankrupt.
Then, with what's left he started another company in another district. He gave his 200 % focus and hard work to develop his new company with Asu helping him. When his company finally reached it's success, he bought back the Kozcuoglu's shares bit by bit. And now, he got his company and his legacy back. His new company were managed by Asu while he managed the Kozcuoglu Holding.
The last 3 years was no game for him. He worked extremely hard to achieve success and getting back his legacy. He has become more ruthless and invincible in the business world as he learnt from experiences.
Nihan got married with Kemal and they left Turkey with Deniz right after their marriage. He couldn't chase Nihan because he had sign the agreement paper with Kemal in not to bother them anymore. If not, Kemal would disclose his other bad deeds in the past.
At present, he is no longer obsessed with Nihan as he kept himself busy with work, work and more work. He only rest for sleep but when he wakes up, he only work. He got used to the routine and little by little, Nihan slipped away from his life. He can now accept the fact that he can live without her. Maybe not as a complete man, but at least he is living.
He now stood at his study room staring at the garden's serenity in his new mansion. He lived with his mom and some maids. The house is big and beautiful but for him it's too empty. If only his child was still alive, maybe he wouldn't feel so lonely, he thought to himself. And that reminded him of his 'kucugum'.
