"I'm so beat!" Natsu said as he set his head down on the table.
"You tired?" Lucy asked, as she sat across from him, "I thought that was impossible." The two of them, plus Happy, had just gotten off a long job that took them halfway across the kingdom; this of course meant Natsu had to ride a train, which may have had something to do with how he was currently acting.
The job itself had gone off without a hit, slaying a rather sizable monster, and it had a decent reward with it. Lucy was mildly impressed with him, considering how he didn't wreck the town in the process as he normally did. Was he maybe maturing a little? No, Lucy wouldn't bet on it.
"What?" Natsu asked, looking at her, with a pout, "I can't get tired?"
"Just saying," Lucy said, holding up her hands.
"Natsu can be really lazy when he wants to," Happy said, as he started munching on a fish.
"I'll keep that in mind," Lucy said, leaning on her hand.
"I just need a day off," Natsu said, as he put his head back down, "There was way too much train for one day." Lucy looked him up and down, as she took in just how worn he really was.
"When was the last time you had a vacation?" she asked.
"A what now?" Natsu said, looking up.
"Natsu doesn't know what a vacation is," Happy teased.
"I do too!" Natsu protested as he sat up, "It's just been a while now."
"You've gotta take it easier," Lucy said, "No one's invincible, not even you." Natsu just grumbled under his breath as he lay his head back down on the table.
"Being completely honest," Lucy said, "I think we could both use a break right now." She looked around the guild; as was normal, there was arguing, drinking, and a little bit of brawling to top it all off. Nothing she wasn't used to, but everyone needed some quiet every so often.
"Well, you're in the wrong place for that," Happy said, as he gulped down the last of his fish. Knowing he was right, Lucy sighed, as she got up.
"I'm going to go home a little early," she said, "I'll see you tomorrow."
"See ya," Natsu said, not looking up as he waved. With that, Lucy took her leave, heading back down the road to her apartment.

"I'll tell ya, Plue," Lucy said, glancing down at her Celestial Spirit companion, as she trotted down the edge of the canal, "Natsu needs to find some way to really relax or he's going to go crazy."
"Pun," Plue chirped.
"No kidding," Lucy said with a slight chuckle. She got back up to her apartment, as she checked her mail, and noticed something new.
"What's this?" she asked, picking it up, seeing that it was a brochure for a place called "Royal Excursions". It even came with a coupon.
Come down and spend a weekend being treated like a princess! the brochure read Everyone is welcome all the time!
"Oh," Lucy said as she came into her apartment, sitting down at her desk. This may have been exactly what she needed, and maybe there was something Natsu could partake in as well. That was, of course, when she turned a page on it, and she saw what was next, her eyes widening.
"Ohhh...," she said. This certainly wasn't she had been expected; like at the absolute bottom of the list. At glance, this wasn't something she thought Natsu would be interested in, but Lucy sat back in her chair and thought about it. From what she was reading, this seemed like something that was relatively harmless, especially since this retreat offered privacy on this. Also, from what was being described, it could give Natsu a chance to unwind; true it was a rather unorthodox way of unwinding, but nothing seemed abjectly wrong with it.
Besides, it wasn't like Natsu really had to know what this whole thing entailed. Some may call that being honest on Lucy's part, but Natsu had certainly tricked her more than a couple times since she joined Fairy Tail (to nothing of how many times he invaded her place). Perhaps this was Lucy's chance to get a little light payback, and help him out a little in the process.
With that, she checked the address to make the arrangements.

"Hey Natsu!" Lucy said, as she came up to the table Natsu was sitting at.
"Mmm?" Natsu asked through his food stuffed mouth.
"You know how I said you needed a vacation?" Lucy said, "Well, I think. I may have found a place."
"What're you talking about?"
"I found a retreat not far from here," Lucy said, as she sat down, "A place we can kick back and relax for a couple days."
"What kind of retreat?" Natsu asked.
"Just a normal place you and I can unwind at," Lucy explained, "Nothing really fancy." That last part was technically a white lie, but no harm no foul.
"What about jobs?"
"Well, the money you and I got from the last job should be able to cover it. And I even got a coupon for the place."
"Eh?" Natsu said with a shrug, "What the heck? When do we leave?"
"Tomorrow," Lucy said with a wink, as she got back up, and turned to leave, "So get packed."
"Do we have to take a train?" Natsu suddenly asked. Lucy stopped dead in her tracks, as she coughed slightly.
"Well...," she said.
