Chapter XIX

The Great Detective From London

"I'm home.....", Lisa said as soon as she got home and went inside the apartment. She already knew that Bourbon would come to her apartment in London. Bourbon also knew that Baileys wouldn't go anywhere aside London, where she belongs.

Lisa went inside the apartment and she she saw Bourbon sat on the couch. Bourbon knew that Lisa was actually Baileys in disguise.

"Baileys-san......", stated Amuro as soon as he saw Lisa walked to the kitchen and put the groceries on the table.

"Amuro-san knew that Lisa is actually Baileys?", Ryu was shocked.

"Have you heard of that name, Edogawa-san?", asked Amuro playfully to Ryu.

She just shook her head.

Lisa refuse to sit at the living room since there was Amuro there. She was still disappointed at Amuro because he yelled at her without even knowing the truth. In the mean time, Baileys still didn't wanna tell Amuro the truth because... she didn't want the perfect plan she planned to be ruined because of a small careless mistake.

"Lisa-san!!!!", yelled Amuro once he saw Lisa ran to her room.

Before she entered the room, Lisa reminded Ryu about the cake that she bought, "Ryu-kun... I've bought some cake... Can you please give some to Mrs Smith next door?", asked Lisa kindly.

Then, Ryu nodded her head with a smile. Deep inside, she was worried about Amuro.... What was his motive? Why would he come here?

"Lisa-san??!", yelled Amuro again and he chased after Lisa.

Ryu knew that Amuro might have done something that made Lisa mad so, she walked herself towards the kitchen and took out the cake out of its box.

Meanwhile, Amuro chased Lisa and got into her room..... He was surely looked like he regretted what he had done to Lisa and he looked into Lisa's eyes.

"I know I'm wrong... please forgive me", Amuro begged.

"Baileys-san... I wont repeat the same mistake again", Amuro kneeled as he faced Baileys a.k.a Lisa.

"I shouldn't acuse you.... And even if you do so, I shouldn't yell to you like I did", Amuro begged again.

"Baileys-san... Actually I wanted to tell you that I lov-", but before Amuro could continue his words Lisa started to say something.

"No it's fine... It's not your fault... when the right time comes... You'll also know the truth too... Now, let's just forget about everything... since I'm using a new identity,I hope you understand how important this identity is to me..", Lisa explained as he grabbed Amuro's hands to pick him up from kneeling on the floor.

"Baileys-san.... I know this isn't the right time but... I'm waiting for this moment to tell you that I actually lov-......"

"Aaaarghhhhhhh!!!! LISA-KUN!! COME SEE THISS!! HURRY!!!!!!", yelled Ryu as she ran from Mrs Smith's house.

"LISA-KUN.... MRS SMITH IS..... DEAD!!!", she added more as she dragged Lisa to see the dead body which was hung on the ceiling in the living room.

"Bourb- erm.... Amuro-san... Quickly, call the ambulance and the police!!!", said Lisa once all the three of them went to Mrs Smith's apartment.

Mrs Smith was found dead hung at the ceiling in the living room. On the table, there was a cup of tea, a tv which was still on, and a dying message. The balcony's door was also shut.. which means the culprit could enter from the front door only... Which could be caught on the security camera.

As Ryu looked closely at the victim, she dicovered that there were harsh marks on her neck which doesn't seem like she hung herself at all. She looked like she was strangled to death....

"Think like Kudo-kun, Shiho.... What would he do if he is in this situation????!!", Ryu spoke to herself.

"Ah!!! Let see!!!!"

"Wait!.... Let me see her security camera footage.. I wonder where is the monitor....", Ryu suddenly voiced once she scanned the front door. She noticed that front door had a little security camera on it.

She went through the whole room inside the apartment and luckily she saw the monitor just inside Mrs Smith's room.

"Ryu... You can't just walk in.. It's others' resident... besides, you don't have the warrant", Lisa told her, reminding her that she may get into trouble if she just get inside the victim's room just like that.

"I don't have it, but you do...", said Ryu as she busy opened the monitor and looked for the footage from the security camera.

"Haaa! This is it!!", Ryu exclaimed once she saw the footage.

From the footage, she saw a few people came into the resident. The first one was a middle aged man with a blonde hair, he brought a plastic bag along with him before he came in. He went home without the plastic bag which means he brought some gifts for Mrs Smith.

The second person was a middle aged woman. She has a long red hair and brown eyes. She looked like a very bold woman... she wore very neat clothes and she had her glasses on.. which made her look intimidating.

The last person was an old lady.... who seemed to be at the same age as Mrs Smith. She looked like she was an old friend of the victim whom usually came by to have a visit at the resident.

"These three were invited here... I supposed", stated Ryu once she examined the footage.

"Amuro-San.... Is there any way for me to contact these people?", asked Lisa to Amuro hurriedly.

Amuro then nodded as he spoke to the inspector about the three suspects who came by that day. Luckily, the three suspects were able to cooperate to come at the crime scene with the police for the investigation.

"Amuro-san... Did you get anything?", asked Lisa to her as she realized that he was also with the inspector to investigate the three suspects.

"The first suspect, John William said that he came for a short visit at Mrs Smith's apartment. The other day when Mrs Smith came to his café, she was so interested with the tea that John was using to make the milk tea so, she asked him where he bought it. John William stated that he was too busy that time and he didn't have time to have a long chat with Mrs Smith. He felt bad so, he promised Mrs Smith to give her some packets of tea that he used to make the milk tea", Amuro explained.
