The Swan Princess

Part 1

Leia's POV

"Moooom! I told you, I don't want to meet any more suitors!" I reminded my mom for like the 1652536253623th time. It's not that I didn't want to marry, because I do, it's that I want to marry for LOVE, not some business arrangement. Mom was hosting the annual ball to celebrate my birthday, and I'm going to be turning 28 this year. I assumed I'd find a nice Prince there, and then Mother and Father would approve, we'd date for a while, then finally, get married. 

My heart fluttered at the thought of dating again. My last experience with dating ended badly, with my Prince Neal dying because he sacrificed his life for his father, who I've actually never met, because Neal told me that his father was dangerous. But I understand (kind of) why Mother wants me to marry someone that they approve, because of something that happened to my mom's friend a few years back. This is what I've heard:

There was a pirate named Killian Jones who had a feud with a man named Rumplestiltskin, and mom's friend was his girlfriend. Killian was very jealous, because no ladies ever came onto his ship. So he decided to kidnap Milah, the girl. Milah was begging Killian to let her go, but he didn't. Rumple was very upset about this, so he tried to stab Killian, but it ended up cutting off the pirate's hand, earning his nickname Hook, because he used that as a substitute for his hand. Killian was VERY angry, and was able to kill Milah. But Hook wanted more revenge. And to this day, he wants to kill Rumple, who he calls the crocodile, for whatever reason. 

But I don't know if that's some silly story that parents tell kids to scare them or whatever. I'm kind of getting excited for this ball, because Mom decided to welcome EVERY prince, even ones they've never met. So I hope I might meet a nice prince, one who doesn't have a huge ego like all the others I've met. And Father agreed to make sure that the princes there aren't old enough to be my dad. He said that he'd make sure that they are all 10 years older than me or less. My son, Henry, is pretty excited too, because Mom is inviting some girls that are 10, his age. 

Hook's POV

I knew that the dungeon of the crocodile is in the Charming's castle, but I needed a way into the castle first, and they're heavily guarded, and I've heard many things about the Princess Savior who has magic, and I don't want to take any chances of running into that lass. So I'm going to find a way to be allowed in, and- wait, there's a ball tonight celebrating Leia Swan's birthday and every prince is welcome? Well, I'll just have to pretend to be a prince for one night, doesn't seem too difficult. I'd just need a fake hand to wear, because if I came in with a hook attached to my stub, it'd be very obvious of my true identity. 

And I could probably kidnap the princess for some extra cash, too. And that cash could be used to purchase squid ink, the only way to kill an immortal man, which the Crocodile is, but he won't be for long, since I'm going to kill him, and take his place as the next Dark One, and nothing could possibly stop me. Even this savior princess won't have a chance either. Oh, it's going to be a good eternity after all.
