Enmu's POV:

Train passes right before my face, the wind it creates brushes against it. I follow the train-like shape vanishing before my eyes in just few seconds. I guess machines evolved at greater speed than I've predicted. Looking around, many people gathered, all wearing grey coats with some white shirt under it and strange triangular collar hanging on their necks.

"Next train for *** arrives in 3 minutes, we please all passengers to get ready"

Another one?! But it passed only about 8-7 minutes... Yea, this is my second life. Since I can't speak, because I am a dog, I can at least learn from people around me. I learned that every day in the same time, a train with number 306 arrives. After that train there are 507 and 873... I have been watching their arrivals and departures every day, noticing that the longest time of being late was only 12 seconds... That just incredible.

I lay on the ground staring at countless shoes passing right in front of my nose. Some people look at me as if I am a monster, I don't know why. Maybe because of my fur color, but I have seen other dogs with such weird colors on their fur as well! They said they colored it, oh well of someone really wants to stand out, it's their wish. I mentally shrug before noticing a piece of bread laying on the ground.

Finally some fricking food! I chew on the bread, my tail wagging. How long has it been, three-two days? Because of my appearance people don't want to offer me any food, they say I would try to eat them and then they throw water at me talking 'shoo you demon!' I mean fine, I am a demon but no one can tell. I wonder what amusing expression would they make if I was in human form, flawing their skin, just enough for them to pass out from pain, but not die of blood loss.. Being devoured as they sleep tightly in their dreams, not ever realizing it until it's too late hahahahahahh- ahh... Pity I don't have my powers, but only strenght and speed... Oh well I guess I could tear their limbs but not as precise as before..

Maybe I should get out of the subway.. But I am scared. I haven't come out of it for weeks now.. In fact, I don't even remember last time I was out there. Can daylight harm me.? If so I would be dead the moment I take step out of this station. I have lost track of time so I mainly depend on trains. I don't see many dogs around here, most people who come are either businessmen or students, never normal passer-bys.

I lay on the ground again, under a bench, ready to get a good comfy spot for counting how many trains will pass today. Well that was before I heard barking. I immediately stood up, making my head hit the bench I was previously laying under. I see.. Oh what an unlucky day this is. It's the reincarnation of that flame pillar- I guess even God wants to make me feel desperate today. The barks I heard are oddly familiar.

As people who got startled by dog barks moved away something in my mind clicked, saying I know that guy. "I don't wanna go to train!! Let's go with car! CAR! " The dog raged at the flame pillar. That dog had pink fur and b lue eyes with yellow irises, oh.. OHHH *Enmu.exe.stopped.working*

I run up to the two of them, barking as well. "Akaza-san! Akaza-san! It's it's me! It's me! Enmu! " The 'probably is Akaza' dog just stared at me. Like.. He was barking for a moment, and now we have a stare down. After some time he sighs "So it's not only me.. " I thought the same thing, "Akaza-san!! -" "Formalities" Akaza commanded. "W-wait even in this world I need-" I saw his glare and lay on the ground. Even if he is smaller, he is still far far stronger then me. "You may speak" I let out a sigh of relief, "Akaza-dono I wanted to ask.. How did two of you meet each other?? Flame pillar and yourself I mean.. " I asked looking at Rengoku, then back at Akaza. He remained silent.

Sigh. Okay, if that what you wish. I look at the flame pillar again "Akaza-dono why did you stay with him then? Don't you despise male humans, this one was a hashira in his past life as well-!! " I growled but regreted at as he immediately backlashed. "None of your concern! You don't need to know anything about me or him-! " My tail found its spot between my legs as I took few steps back.

"Okay okay... Sorry" The last part wasn't as cheerful as first. With that I decided to leave the two. "Wait." I turned my head around to see Akaza looking at me, his facial expression more relaxed than before. "It was good to see you Enmu" He somewhat smiled, making my heart flutter. He has always been cold and cruel to lower moons, most of the time he wouldn't answer at our questions or just ignored us. Hearing his behavior change from upset to calm in matter of second was indeed precious.

"You too Akaza-san" I say calmly and go back to my spot where I could see flame hashira leaving with Akaza-san. I wonder if we will meet each other again...
I humm in that thought and settle down, slowly drifting to sleep..
