I wake up to the sound of my alarm ringing at 10am , so I get up & get ready for work . I usually start my morning off with eating some eggs & toast , then I take a shower . I never do a lot to my face when im working as a waitress , so I usually just put on some mascara & put chapstick on my lips so they wouldnt get dry .

It was around 10:40am & I was getting ready to leave for work . The restaurant I work at is located about 10 minutes away from where I live , so I usually just walk it .. but if im feeling lazy , I drive there . Today , I decided I was going to walk . It felt nice outside .. not too hot , but yet not too cold . I finally arrived & I was now outside the restaurant I work at . I immediately went to the bathroom to change into my waitress outfit since my restaurant was about to open in 10 minutes . I always try to make the best of everyday , even if I wake up in a bad mood , I keep it positive no matter what .

Ever since mom passed away , I tried my best to stay happy because I know she would've wanted that for me . Everyday I miss her even more , but im glad she's no longer suffering . At first , dealing with her loss was hard .. I couldn't get up & do anything productive . I cried & cried & I always blamed myself for her passing . I still remember the day I got a call from my uncle saying mom was in the hospital & was in critical condition . I remember driving past red lights to get to the hospital as fast as I could .. but I wasnt fast enough . Mom's last words were ' im sorry ' .

Turns out somebody broke into her house & mind you she lived alone since I decided to move out at 18 . The guy just wanted things that were valuable , & my mom tried giving him anything she found , but it wasn't enough for him . Eventually , she couldnt find anything else to give him , & he got pretty mad so he shot her in the stomach about 3 times & once in her chest thinking she was dead . That same day , my uncle was coming over to visit mom since he hadnt seen her in about 3 years .. he found her 10 minutes after the intruder had left . Somehow she was still breathing , so he immediately rushed her to the hospital which was 15 minutes away from where she lived .

' y/n ? .. y/n ! Y/N !! ' .. shit I zoned out . ' sorry boss , I zoned out ' I apologized , ' well stay concentrated , everyday is a busy day , cant have any upset customers ' the boss said , ' alright boss ' . It was now 11:20am & customers were already heading in . ' one chocolate crepe with a vanilla milkshake please ' a customer said , ' alright , what about you darling ' I asked the little boy who was with his mom . ' can I have a w-waffle & some orange j-juice ? ' he said , ' yes of course ' I responded . I took the order to the chefs in the kitchen & went back into the main area to take more orders .

Time passed & it was about to be time for me to head home . ' 20 minutes till I can finally leave ' I told myself . I work a part time shift , so after I leave somebody else comes & takes my place . I honestly loved working at this restaurant , we nearly never have any rude customers & all the chefs & other waitresses here are really kind .

I changed back into my regular clothes & I was heading out through the back door since it was now 3:00pm exact . The weather was still pretty nice outside , so I just took my time walking back home . I decided to stop & buy some icecream from the icecream store down the street since I had been craving something sweet for a while now . I went by & chose the cookies & cream icecream .. its my favorite ! I continued my walk home , licking my icecream , while craving to lay in my bed & nap for an hour .

I arrived home .. finally . I lived in a small , but kinda spacious , 1 bedroom apartment . Everything about this apartment was amazing & even better , the rent wasnt too pricey . Its about to be a year since I moved into here & so far i've been doing well all on my own . I feel safe here ..

I set my alarm so I could wake up in about an 1 hour & 40 minutes . I then put myself in a comfortable position & put the covers over myself . I was so tired .. I just wanted to sleep & never wake up . I closed my eyes shut & I quickly went to sleep ..

I woke up to my alarm for the second time today , wishing I could stay in bed all day long , but I had to get up for work . I went to my closet & picked out an outfit to wear for the bar . I decided to put on a tight black bodycon minidress with no straps since it really brought out my curves & it just made me feel confident in a way . I quickly rushed over to the bathroom to curl my hair which took about 45 minutes & then I put on a full face of makeup which took like an hour or so . It was now 5:45 & it was about time for me to head out . I quickly ran back to my room to put my red stiletto heels on & ran back out & left my apartment .

The bar I worked at was 10 minutes away , so I usually always drive there . I arrived & there was a lot of people , so I went through the back door & went to the area where I worked at . I could see a lot of men were staring .. some even tried to make a move , but I obviously rejected them . 40 minutes passed & I was still serving drinks every here & then & also receivimg a lot of tips .. which was good . I was lowkey getting bored , some men wayyy older than me tried making conversation , but I just ignored them .

30 minutes passed & I saw that some man walked into the bar & he had a tattoo on his forehead of some sort of cross , which I honestly found kinda odd about him , but he just looked like any other person here , just kinda younger .

He walked up to the bar & sat down on a barstool & I could feel his eyes watching me as I served drinks to other men . I could see from the corner of my eye that he was eyeing me up & down my body as if he was observing me . I then turn & walk towards him ..
' you want anything ? ' I ask with a straight face
' you princess ' he said ,
I chuckled & said ' that was a bit uh .. cheesy , but im serious , you want anything '
' oh & I was being serious about my answer as well ' he said in a flirty voice .
I then raised my eyebrow & said ' well too bad , that isnt on the menu ' & walked away to serve other men their drinks . I could hear him let out a little chuckle as I walked away , which I found weird , but something about him was different from these other men .

I continued to serve drinks to men at the bar & as time passed , I noticed that the young man who eyed me up & down earlier was still here .. watching me . At this point I was starting to get creeped out , so I tried my best to ignore him & not go off on this weird man .

More time passed & I was nearing my shift , which meant it was almost time for me to go home . It was now 10:53pm , & I was finishing up serving any left over orders that I still had to do . By the time I finished , it was 10:58pm , so I just got my things & left out the back door .

As I was locking the back door so no one would enter , I heard footsteps coming my way & just like any other person alone , I started panicking , but I tried to remain calm . As I turn around from locking the door , I saw the man who was in the bar . He scared the shit out of me ..

' arent you the guy from the bar ? n-no , thats not important .. w-what the hell are you doing here anyways ? ' I ask in a loud voice .
' oh I didnt mean to startle you .. uh I just came to make conversation since I saw you were about to leave ' he said as he was starting to walk towards me .
' why make conversation now ? you had all the time to do so earlier , but why n-now ? ' I ask as I started getting nervous since he was walking towards me not knowing what'll happen .
' you know you'd probably ignore me if I did so earlier .. anyways , you've caught my attention princess ' he said in a flirty voice as he was now standing over me , about to put his hand on my chin .
' I dont even know you ! ' I yell as I slap his hand off my chin .
' well thats what I came here to talk about .. I wanna get to know you better ' he said with a light smirk on his face .
