[6] The Consequences of Betrayal

"Wait (Y/N)!"

Yamato shouted her name after she beat the shit out of Kabuto and go after Sai. Yamato click his tongue before made a hand sign.

"Go after (Y/n), make sure she's not doing something stupid." Yamato said to his clone who nod and dash quickly towards where (Y/N) dissappear.

Yamato sigh as he thought. 'She too reckless sometimes.'

Yamato look to where Kabuto lean against the stone after being beaten by (Y/N). He got a bad bruise on his face and others several cuts, he held his right side where blood stains dripped on his clothes.

'Isn't that too much, (Y/N)? It looks like he can't move.' Yamato thought before walk towards Sakura who was unconscious. He sigh as he crouched down next to her. 'And now this one.'

Yamato shooked her shoulder as he called her name. "Sakura, wake up." He patted on her cheek twice, she flinch as she open her eyes before gasped.

"Yamato Taichou?" She look around searching for her teammates. "What happen? Where's Naruto?"

Yamato sigh, he looked in the direction where the roar sounded.

YAMATO'S CLONE P.O.V

"Moku Shouheki no Jutsu!" I quickly made a wood barrier when I sense of incoming blast. Soon it stop and reverse back my jutsu, I jump onto the branch and to another.

I make it on the top of tree where I could see the Kyuubi and Orochimaru are.

I glance at my left side when I felt something moves on the tree a fews feet away from where I standing. I noticed that, kyuubi gather and balance his chakra in their mouths, shape it into a sphere. 'Could it be another blast?'

My head snap at the figure and jumped towards her. I hold her around the waist with the other hand around her shoulders before jumping to the ground.

"Taichou-"

I hide behind the large tree and held her close against my chest. The ground shake lightly before loud explosions and strong winds passed the tree we were hiding, I felt that (Y/N) was holding tightly to my vest.

Soon the blast had stop, I take a look from behind the tree. All the trees and soil were swept away by the explosion earlier. I let out a sigh and look down at her.

"Are you okay?" I could see the tint of blush on her cheeks. She took a few steps backwards and nodded her head.

"Yeah . . ." She answer quietly and turn her head away shyly.

"Don't go on your own like that, we don't know what will happen if I didn't come at you earlier. You'll get yourself injured." I turn around and see Sai was hiding behind the tree.

'What is he doing here?'

"Sorry, Taichou." I glance at her, head down looking at the ground. I sigh and place my hand on her shoulder.

"Don't do it again." She nodded.

YAMATO P.O.V

I sigh as I success to suppress the fourth tails of demon cloak. I look at Naruto as he unconscious and fell on the ground.

"Naruto!" Sakura run towards him with tears run down her cheeks.

I walk towards them before knelt down beside Sakura as she healing Naruto with her healing jutsu.

"Yamato Taichou . . . That jutsu that stopped Naruto earlier on . . . Would you teach me that jutsu . . . ?"
