Chapter 3 ♡

Alexia's P.O.V
~
I sip my Starbucks Frappicino as I walk into college straight to my locker with Zoey by my side. "You know you should have a change, you always get the Mocha Iced Frappicino" "yeah because it's the only one I like so far, plus I don't like change" I sigh putting my bag in my locker and grabbing the books I will need for my first two lessons, that are both with Zoey might I add, 'help me' my mind whispers. English then Health, the joys. I shut my locker and head towards the class we're in "Then why did you change yourself?" Zoey asked, I stopped dead in my tracks and turned to look at her "I-I don't know Zoey" I stutter "I don't know" I whisper. The bell rings informing us that it's time for our 1st class "cmon we have English" I state as we both head down the hall into the class room and take our seats next to each other. "Good morning class" Miss Meadows says starting the lesson. "Morning miss" we all groan.

"So class, this month we are going to be focusing on the novel Wuthering Heights so I want you all to take a copy" Miss Meadows says whilst going down the aisles of desks and giving each person a Wuthering Heights novel. She then proceeds to walk back up to her desk before giving us our assignment "okay class, for your assignment I would like you to make a diary entry for a week explaining the relations of the novel Wuthering Heights to your life, I expect it to be on my desk next Mo-"

"Sorry I'm late, I overslept" a male voice is heard as the classroom door swings open, I glance at who it is to find him glance at me. Oh no.

"Erm oh you must be the new student, not a good start to the day is it Mr..."

"Saunders erm Jace Saunders" he replies "Mr Saunders, your nearly 20 minutes late to my lesson" Miss Meadows states nicely "I know Miss, it won't happen again" he promises "Okay, take a seat" she gestures across to many free desks in the classrom and hands him a copy of Wuthering Heights.

His eyes scan around the room making me feel nervous, he walks closer in my direction and my breath hitches as he is centimetres away from me, I turn my gaze to my desk as he sits down behind me in a vacant seat. I take a deep breath and turn my attention back to the teacher as she speaks up. "Okay class as I was saying I want this assignment from you on my desk next monday morning, Jace since you missed my talk on what we are doing, you will have to ask one of class to go through it with you, okay class let's get started with Wuthering Heights" she opens the novel and starts to read it out loud to us whilst we read along to her voice with our novels.

Time skip ~

'I adjourned to my study, feeble as a kitten: almost too much so to enjoy the cheerful fire and smoking coffee which the servant had prepared for my refreshment'.

"Okay class we will stop there on Chapter 3 as the bell is about to go" Miss Meadows says placing the novel on the desk and as soon as she does everyone starts to pack up there things. "Hey we have health next right? " I jump a little as I hear Zoey's voice besides me, I was too spaced out in my thoughts that I forgot she was next to me "erm yeah we do" I say now back to reality, I seem to fall away from reality recently, I guess I just have a lot on my mind "have you done the homework?" we both say in unison "nope" we both say in unison again giggling, I swear we are like twins haha. The bell rings that annoying sound and me and Zoey both scurry out of the classroom not wanting to get caught up in the crowd of class mates thinking the exact same thing, I hate crowded spaces. Me and Zoey walk down the corridor that seems to take forever until we spot our health classroom, just as I was about to walk in I feel a tap on my shoulder, I turn around and see him, Jace fucking Saunders.
