*Note: I don't know how much longer I can sift through Uncle Matthew's heaps of work. They're getting darker and darker. This one is of a lighter tone.
Didn't you ever see
That it was all for you?
It wasn’t a poem
Or flowers
But an attempt
To make you see me
Without the haze of others
Covering your eyes
I felt like you were blind
Like you never noticed me
And it made me feel unwanted
I told myself I’d find someone
But no one ever came along
And I realized
That you were the oneBut you were already gone
