THIRD PERSON POV

Y/n stirred in waking up feeling warmth against her, she looked at the time and sighed. She slowly moved off the bed not wanting to wake the sleeping beauty. She walked downstairs and into the kitchen pouring a glass of water, she stared out the window. She couldn't help but get lost in thought, just then she felt a pair of hands circle around her waist bring her back to reality. She felt the warmth once again and her mind eased up realizing that it was just Bella.

Bella: "You were supposed to be sleeping," she said resting her head on Y/n's shoulder eyeing the glass in her hand "What's wrong?" she said moving in front of Y/n taking her glass from her and smelling it. This caught Y/n's attention but instead of being upset she just smiled down at the brunette.

Y/n: "Don't worry it is just water" she said taking back the glass, taking a sip before placing it in the sink. She turned around and grabbed the brunette pulling her closer before gently placing her on the countertop. "The things you do to me" she groaned placing her head on Bella's shoulder.

Y/n then remembered how easy it was to get lost in her eyes. Even with her eyes closed, it felt like everything of the outside world would disappear just by her being with Bella. It was just the two of them at that moment, Bella reached out and placed her hands on either side of Y/n's face pulling her head up so she could look into her eyes. She placed her forehead against Y/n's and closed her eyes and they just melted into each other's touch.

Bella: "Why don't you try talking to him, try to get a confession out of him?" she said breaking the silence "You could get the answers that you have been looking for all this time and maybe even more" Y/n's eyes just shot open to stare back at her in shock.

Y/n: "He killed people Bella, that isn't something he would openly tell me," Bella nodded her head in understanding "Even after all the things that he has done already, with the blood and the brick." she said taking a step back "I can't afford to put you or any of the others in trouble" she shook her head, not wanting to even think of what would happen if her father had to lay hands on any of the others, especially Bella. She wanted to keep him as far away from Bella as possible.

Bella: "I know but it could be much worse if you don't confront the situation now," she said trying to reason with her "He already found your house. That means he would be able to find your place of work and anything else he wanted to," she said climbing off the countertop "Our lives aren't as private as we would like them to be you know that" she walked up to Y/n wrapping her arms around her waist pulling her in for a hug.

Y/n: "Can it get worse than an exploding SUV and a bloody box at my doorstep?" she said starting to feel the anger rise in her just by mentioning the situations

Bella: "Yes, he could have been standing there with a knife or gun waiting to do something stupid just to get your attention" they both took a deep breath before looking at each other once more. Bella was searching for any kind of emotion from the girl in front of her but was still being blocked out by a blank expression on Y/n's face.

Y/n: "Has the wound fully healed?" she said looking down at where Bella was shot "You seem to be moving around fine in front of everyone else, but I see you wincing now and then" she said trying to shift the topic

Bella: "That is nothing some rest can't fix" she shook her head and pulled Y/n closer "You changing the topic," she said with their faces inches away from each other "I know a lot has happened over these few months with Fai, your dad and let's not forget the conversation we keep running away from," she said pulling out the necklace that held the engagement ring. She played with the ring and seemed to have gotten lost in her thoughts

Y/n: "Bells," she said lifting her head so she can a better look at her. Y/n took a step back and placed her hand on her chin and examined the girl in front of her "Have you gained weight?" she said and they both burst out laughing. When the laughter settled she continued "Whether you gain weight or lose it" she said in a serious tone "Whether you quit your job or keep it" she moved closer to the brunette "Whether you chose to stay here or move to a quieter place" she undid the chain and took the ring "All that matters is that I choose you and I will always choose you" she said with a childish smile on her face

Bella: "And what if I don't" Y/n's smile fell almost instantly "I don't want to be a choice. But I don't want to be away from you even more," she said wrapping her arms around Y/n pulling her closer. "I don't-" she was cut off by Y/n's lips being placed over hers. She sat there stunned because Y/n didn't do anything else, she just placed her lips over Bella's.

Y/n: "You talk too much sometimes" she pulled away making her brunette push a little further "All I am hearing is 'what ifs' or 'I don't want'. Tell me what you do want," she said picking up her left hand and sliding the ring down her finger "I can tell you what I want right now without having a second, third or any other thoughts. I want you Bella, no one else. My 'choice' will never change because I want you in my life," Bella looked at her with tears in her eyes "I want you to be my wife. Will you?"
