"So I was wondering if you wanted to go out some time, Nina?" Joseph asked me.
"That's sweet, Joseph. I'll think about and text you if I can." I said. I walked to my locker. Andrew Barnes walked over to me.
"Hey, Nina." he said.
"Hey, Andrew. What's up?" I finished getting my books and looked up at him.
"Well, Nina... I've been liking for a while now. And I was wondering if you'd you like to go on a date one day?"
"That's really thoughtful, Andrew. I'll get back to you?"
"Ok, Nina." I walked away.
"What is with everyone today?" I mumbled to myself. Ice been asked out twice and school hasn't even started. I walked over to my friends: Victoria, Maddy, Lizza, Bethany, Shelby, Brooke, Stephanie, and Alice. They were all talking about the homecoming dance coming up in a few weeks. They wanted to get dates, but they don't like anyone.
"I mean, I don't want to go with Johnny, but I heard from his friend that he might ask me tomorrow at the football game." Alice said.
"Alice. You know you guys could always ask someone yourself." I told her. Everyone gasped around me. They still think guys are romantic. "Well yeah. Last year at the 8th grade dance I asked Marcus and he said yes."
"Well, Nina. That was 8th grade. We're 9th grader now." Alice said. I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever, Alice."I said.
"Nina, we all know you're gonna get asked." Victoria said. I shrugged my shoulders. I'm popular u guess. Guys always seemed to like me. But I'll never like them back. Even seniors ask me out.
"I won't say yes to just anyone. I'm not a slut."
"We never called you one, but you are always the first to get asked out, asked to homecoming, everything." said Lizza.
"I'm sorry. Ok?"
"Can you at least get us some dates?" Bethany asked. I nodded my head. And we went to class.
