Soooo I didn't want to miss the deadline for ONC specifically since my story was an ambassadors pick and that feels like a good long list possibility. With that said, I'm ending this Novella at a sexy open ended cliff hanger and will be picking it back up after the event where I plan to add the unpublished chapters making it my Watty's novel entry. ... I took a week to plot a whole story and not only can I not find it on my google docs its not in any of the old versions. Someone PLEASE tell me this is happening to them too and how to fix it.
@KimberlyWesley they kinda said we can allude but not talk so I don't even know we can say it happened really I like edited it down and was vague as I can be
ATTENTION: To who this may concern begining April 15th Wattpad has moved the age of consent from 16 to 18. This means ANY depiction of characters 16-17 in a sexual situation might have your story removed. From reading the guidelines that means even if you have a a scene that's not descriptive but in example, in the original Story Of Us Rue is 16 when she loses her virginity and says that Fallon being on top of her hurt. Though that line seems tame to me Wattpad as decided it's not within their consent rules despite you know...A LOT OF US NOT WAITING UNTIL 18 to have sex. To keep the story from being taken down I'm just going to delete those chapters all together which won't make sense for the greater storyline since she literally gets walked in on BUT safe is safe. I recommend going through your old stories and looking at the guidelines to be safe as well.

@KimberlyWesley Im kinda being lazy and changing it to "Do it" "Did it" "Went all the way" to be safe like its an old story ima re-write it but its so tedious and they still have not said if the same rules are going for the published books where people are 17.

So I made it to round 1 of ONC and shout out to the judges for putting both names cause my cover and my title were not matching and I just noticed it. The story is "The Sluts Guide to Romance" I forgot to switch it from A lol

Hi! Before we talk about me, Tiz the season where everyone acts like I'm the only Black author they know. I love that for me but hate that for y'all so with that said, I've been curating a reading list of stories by Black authors featuring Black characters that you probably wont find on the same WP editors list. ITs in Black History Month book Club and if you truly want to amplify Black voices go have a read of the various genre's I'm always adding more so please drop links.

@AWryneckWrites Just think what would happen if they promoted more books instead of the same ones. Here is my other issue. The bigger accounts either not speaking out or helping the little guys. It's always fend for themselves, they've made it, forget the little guys (even though they were once). If I ever get too big for my britches here you have my permission to pull me back down. This is a convo for offline, my bad, lol
