How embarassed you feel,
By all the sins you commit, 
How ashamed you feel,
By the odour your sins can emit,

Everywhere you look, 
You feel that people can see, 
All your wrong doings, 
Your actions, filthy,

You raise your hands,
With your head lowered in shame,
You have none other than yourself,
To point the finger of blame, 

You whisper words of nadaamah,
Words of regret, 
Your bury your head in your hands,
Heart filled with upset, 

How can you disobey Him, 
After all His hospitality to you on earth?
How can you dishonour yourself, 
When He gave you so much worth?

He holds you in high esteem,
Thus He blessed you with emaan, 
He is Ar Raheem,
So be not afraid to return,

He awaits your repentance, 
He welcomes your sorrowful calls,
He accepts your tauba, 
As your ego falls, 

None can forgive,
None can accept,
So if He favours you with both, 
Forever to Him you're in debt.
