Working on a new book offline after so long. Can’t wait to decently plot this one out as it’s out of my comfort zone!

          Sentimental attachment did not run in the family.
          
          There may have been in the past an attempt from my part to grasp that impossible hope. But I was too young, too naive to know how the world really worked-or to be precise, how it worked from behind my father's eyes.
          
          People say that memories are selective, that we only assimilate particular ones under different types of pressure. I don’t agree. or to be precise- I don’t agree 
          with it completely. Our consciousness stores our feelings inside the mind and ties them to our soul. Many times we voluntary shut out our internal  torments to deal against the life, just to not get hurt. 
          
          But this way we break the soul, we shatter it under the weight of fear, we tear it until our consciousness and our mind  stop synchronizing.
          
          That’s what our soul is made off. 
          
          That’s what we humans all have in common.
