DT🌺

Once upon a time in a kingdom far far away lived a girl named DT. She loved to sit in her room and look out her window; wondering what to write next. Often, no new ideas would pop into her brain. Yet, on those rare occasions, an idea would slowly creep into her head. She would-

"DT! Happy 17th birthday!" 

DT looked away from the window and towards the voice. It was her mother. 

"Thanks mom."

"Cake is ready for you downstairs-so anytime you're ready."

"Yup, thanks."

My mom closed the door behind her. When she heard her retreating footsteps, she knew that she was safe to be lost in her thoughts again. 

DT went over to her desk and plugged in her earphones. She decided to listen to a self-composed song as her fingers glided on the keyboard. 

"And that ladies and gentleman is how DT would write her stories, through her two passions: writing and music," I closed the book.

"Awh. That's a horrible ending," my friend grumbled. 

I laughed, "you think THAT'S the ending? No, that's only the beginning."
