David Claringbold

Hello. My name is David Claringbold. I live in Kent, England, and I'm a keen but also a somewhat new writer.

I started writing a couple of years ago on the spur of the moment. I had an idea for a book I wanted to write and so I thought I would give it a go. By the time the mess of my first novel was written, two years had passed.  I thought, "my god", how many times am I going to have to edit this. I'm close to a finished novel, but i'm still not entirely happy with it.

Whilst writing, I soon realised this novel was going to take more than one book to finish. I now know this story will cover three separate novels, and will take up a huge amount of my time in the process (Years at the rate it is going.)

 I decided to start on the second novel, which is the one I have uploaded. I am currently 60% of the way through. I'm now at the difficult stage, as there is so much going on, i'm having trouble writing it. 

I will gradually upload more chapters once I am happy I have edited the first drafts to a reasonable standard.

I'm looking forward to reading the work of other writers on this site. I'm also looking for advice, criticism, what ever it takes to help me become a better writer and improve the quality of my work.
