Hello Gwen,
I have just finished reading ‘Daughter of Shame’ after reading it for the first time at the age of 15 and now I’m 24. After reading it all those years ago, I have been touched by the characters, specifically Jenni, Richie and Renee, and have carried the story with me since. After finding the book again by chance and reading it again, it has ignited the same passion (if not more) for the characters’ stories. The book ends just and Richie has finally opened up to Jenni and we see the side of him we didn’t get to see until the end. Finally at the end, we see that Jenni could possibly have the life her late mother always wanted for her. I understand why it ends there, the possibilities are endless with what happens between Jenni and Richie, but after all these years of imaging what happens next, it would be amazing to get some more answers, with an extension of the ending. I understand that it’s a big ask, but thought I’d try my luck as I’m really passionate about the characters, so I request that if possible, could we get some sort of sequel to Daughter of Shame on here, even a short story about what happens with Jenni and Richie (hopefully something amazing!) and with Renee and her baby. I completely understand if this isn’t possible but would greatly appreciate it if you need as your storytelling is rare and something no other writer could do, truly a gift to be touched by a book. Thank you for reading this message, sorry it’s so long!

Take care and I wish you the best,
          Hannah
