About me: I'm a multi-genre writer of women who roar, a multi-ethnic two-spirit woman, a professor and creative writing instructor, a published author and poet, a healer and a former writer for a First Nations newspaper. I am Afro-American, Native American, and Northern European and love writing multi-ethnic characters and points of view.

While I've visited many alluring places around the world, I find the county I call home is always an enticing sight. It's here I evoke walks through the woods with my grandmother to pick herbs and make teas and summon up oral stories I learned from my elders.

The Work: Raven Mocker: The Cherokee Night Goer is a cross-genre novel and a merger of Indigenous/Native traditional stories, fantasy, history, and old family stories. The fictionalized characters are loosely based on family, friends, and ancestors.

I have dyslexia and make a lot of grammatical blunders, please forgive any I don't catch. As a professor & creative writing instructor, I love reading new work. Raven Mocker: The Cherokee Night Goer-I'm sorry, I had to take down the story. It's being considered for publication. So, I'm revamping the Novel. I will post it when I'm done, as long as I maintain the rights. Thank you all for the comments and for being so incredible.
