George McVey is an ordained pastor who has worked in several different types of churches. He lived in several different states, but has finally settled in his home state, West Virginia. He lives in a house with running water and everything. 

 George is married to his high school sweetheart, Sheri. The two have been married 26 years. Together they have 3 children now Valerie, George Jr., and Alfred. Valerie has given them one grandson, Nathan.

PG, as his friends call him, has always been a storyteller. As a teen he used to create and tell stories to his friends and family. As a pastor he makes up stories to illustrate the points of his sermons and Bible study lessons.
 
Two years ago God moved PG to begin to write. He has written several Bible studies and short stories. His first two books are non-fiction Bible studies. One day he woke up with several characters in his head trying to tell him their stories. He began writing them down. 

One of the stories is this book. He is currently working on the sequel entitled Redeeming Trail. PG is also working on another non-fiction book entitled The Weapons of Our Warfare.
