Stay with me? Always

My name is Peeta Mellark and I am 22 years old. I live in district 12. I somehow survived not only one, but two Hunger Games and a war. 

I'm a baker and a painter.
My favorite colour is a soft sunset orange. 
I never gets sugar in my tea. 
I double knot my shoelaces, and I always sleeps with the window open.

The past still haunts me, but I don't let that keep me from the ones that I love. That's why I try so hard to fight back the nightmares and flashbacks, to grab a chair and refuse to let go. Life has been better sense the Rebellion, but still hard because of the hijacking. 

I don't know if I am okay. I guess I am doing as good as I can with this life. We all have hard and painful experiences sometimes, but the truth is, we can't let those days take over our lives. At the end, we will all find the dandelion in the spring. The promise of rebirth and that everything can be good again and hope for a more happy and bright future. 

I searched for years on end for that hope and I finally found it. Katniss. She is the air I breath. The light in my soul. My everything. And without her, I wouldn't be where I am today. That's why every time she ask me to stay with her, I answer

"Always"
