In 2017, my short story, "The Polaroid," won first place in the Writer's Digest Popular Fiction Awards Suspense/Thriller category. "The Name You're Not Supposed to Call Women" received an Honorable Mention in the 2018 Women's National Book Association Annual Writing Contest.
