Rachel Gatti

I am a freelance writer and curious explorer. I studied theatre at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York before discovering that my love for creating interesting characters was better suited for the page rather than the stage. A love for adventure led me to the North and South islands of New Zealand, which greatly inspired the writing of my children's book, "Beyond the Black Door." My work with an international youth organization brought me to Europe, where I lived on a sailboat in the Mediterranean Sea with some of the wackiest people from around the world. After finishing my voyage through coastal Spain and France, I married my own prince charming and moved to Milan, Italy where I currently reside. 

I love: meeting new people, playful cats, nature, laughing till my sides hurt
Not so fond of: winter fog, taking the trash out, moldy walls
