I always hate these boxes because it seems I can never describe myself without sounding like a stereotype of one sort or another... here goes anyway. My writing is what I do to escape the stress of my life, the moments in time when I can step away from myself and embrace parts that I don't always give the attention they deserve. Or pretend to be someone else entirely, I suppose it greatly depends on what's going on in my life. My best friend can tell you I'm a storyteller and have been since we were teens. I guess I've always written stories and other types of things, but never seriously considered it anything more than an outlet.

I don't watch much television, but there are a few shows that I can't miss, my current favorites being The Big Bang Theory, Haven and Bones. Reading material for me mostly consists of romance, adventure and the odd who-done-it. It depends on what I'm in the mood for. My favorite authors are Katie MacAlister, Rachel Gibson, Janet Evanovich and Kathy Reich. I'm sure if I thought about it longer, I could list many, many more.

Anyway, my goal in joining was to finally finish one of my stories, hopefully with some motivation from other like minded creative types. [Which I have done, thank you all!]  So, that's me...
