Do you have a creative eye? Do you love witchy things like candles and incense and dreamcatchers? I want to design a logo or sign for a little store in Angel Falls (in my Fire and Magic story) that sells these things. It's called Mystical Encounters.

Any and all ideas are welcome. Should I have stars and moons on it? A dreamcatcher? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

How Fire and Magic Was Born.

I had an idea one day where a teenage girl was in a mental institution because she could see ghosts and they thought she was seeing things.

Another idea came to me straight afterwards.

I could see people sitting around a table during a séance and one of them could see ghosts. There was an older guy standing behind the medium conducting the séance and he was scoffing at her.

He moved in front of her, waved his hand in front of her face and said, “You can’t see me, can you? You’re a fake.”

Then he leaned right down in her face and spoke loudly and she didn’t even flinch.
The girl who could see him was struggling to keep a straight face. She was so close to laughing out loud, but she didn’t want to get into trouble.

So the story was formed in my mind and I kept adding to it from there. So far, I can’t see a way to add in a séance without it seeming unnatural, like it doesn’t belong in the story, so I think I’ll leave it out. I won’t try to shoehorn it in if it’s not going to work or make sense.

Hey, everyone.

Just a shout out to say that I am working on a new cover for Fire and Magic and have put a more interesting temporary cover up. I think it will get more people interested to read the story with the character facing us and the fire behind her.

Let me know if you like it.

Just read ‘The Alien’ and absolutely loved it. REALLY wish it was continued or a second book all about what happens next. Does their relationship blossom (hoping so) and all the drama with it. Plus do they go to her home planet where if there are creatures like horses (possibly difficult and stubborn), so perhaps he finds a liking for them that fill the loss of his own horse and along with his skills that prove impressive with training and breeding the creatures that gain him some recognition on the planet that would otherwise shun him. Did they have to go back to Earth to retrieve the Vex, and what happens to his farm? After an adventure does he choose to go ‘Home’ or has he found his ‘Home is wherever Lilliana is’? Does a fleeting romance turn into Mates/Marriage with rituals and would her brother finally see that her ‘Alien Boy’ is far more than just a pretty face and deserving of his sister (being a farm boy he’d be strong, have stamina, clearly intelligent and problem solver in stressful situations, he’d have the basic of fighting skills, tracking and survival skills (maybe wrestling a bear and fighting a hog in past) that would allow him to quickly learn and refine those skills to the standards of the new Alien culture. Plus the talents of working with horse-beasts that is unseen before. His life on Earth being a solitary, isolated lifestyle that required self reliance, adaptability, resourcefulness and working with only ‘primitive’ resources (as the aliens see it), would also allow him to easily adapt to new surroundings on the planet, cultural differences, plus his kind nature but determined/stubborn personality provides the survival and thrive instincts he’d need. Plus having Lilliana beside him through every challenge, plot twist and adventure- much mischievous antics can be foreseen.
