I am very metaphoric with my writing. To simply speak straight forth what lies within my heart as well my soul, for me, cannot be done as I find it not only to be too easy but also I feel poetry is meant not to be so easily understood. It is meant to be felt, imagined, and above all; Elusive. I believe these things because what speaks from the heart of a poet is the essence of what hurts them, angers them, beckons them happiness and so forth. The words they write are tender and should not be so easily spilt upon a page without the delicate and intricate workings such as an artist might paint their emotion upon his canvas. I have been told most of what it is I write is difficult to understand and therefore, I assume by lack of support, difficult to appreciate. It kind of reminds me of a certain ale; Arrogant Bastard, I believe is it's name. It states it may not be your taste plain and clear but still many people, though do not enjoy the taste, still enjoy the drink as they are intoxicated by it. I hope, though my writing may be difficult to understand, will still hold a certain intoxication over my readers and persuade them to continue returning.
My biggest inspirations while working comes from the works of Anne Rice, my favorite author as well various types of music originating from Celtic, Arabic, Classical and so forth. I have fallen in love with such a power and hope many of you will be so kind in taking the time to give my work a few moments and will enjoy them as much as I do writing them.
