it’s all ‘adhd is so quirky’ until you’re literally sitting there in a state of executive dysfunction, feeling physically and mentally paralysed and unable to do anything you’re supposed to be doing even though you have to memorise this essay and so many sources before your exam Friday and even though you’re crumbling with the stress you still cannot push yourself to type one more sentence so you just sit there

Listen, I won’t pretend to understand adhd or how it affects people, but I know that you are absolutely phenomenal. You have created written stories and characters and plots that my mind couldn’t even imagine, your books have filled my life with tears and laughter and so much amazement at how talented a person can be to actually create all of this. Which how I know that whatever you’re doing right now, whether it be just sitting there or pushing yourself to type one more sentence, is enough right now. I’ve been following you on Wattpad for years now, so I know how dedicated you are when you put your mind to something. So I know that if you allow your mind and body to rest right now (if that is what they need) you will still find a way to catch up later. Just take one thing at a time and remember to breathe. ( Sorry for the super long text, I hope this helped even a tiny bit!)
