yesterday's sudden announcement on the world news of her recent serious abdominal surgery.
At this point I wish her well in her recovery.

I apologize for the delay in my writing and posting and hope you will not have
forgotten me. We have had a very difficult winter here in British Columbia, Canada, one of the most severe since I immigrated here 58 years ago. We have experienced temperatures down to -41 C on several days. This morning's temperature was -29 C
I will appreciate your comments and suggestions on this short poem as always.
