For some context: I'm writing a fantasy book with underlying romance, taking inspiriation from the works of SJM. To keep myself accountable and hopefully meet a community of writers, I decided to upload my first draft as I write it onto Wattpad (but don't worry, it's pretty damn grammatically correct). Afterwards, I have a local publisher agreed to publish my work, but I don't have an editor-- hence Wattpad.
"A Queen's Curse" is the first book in a duology (set to be published in May 2025) about an orphan on the streets of New York who finds out she's Fae. . . and a crucial figure in a war she didn't even know was happening. I've linked the story in this post incase you wanted to check it out.

@leylabreme That’s perfect actually because in around mid-June I am planning to be all caught up with everything! So yes let’s get started then. If you’d like to read “Animals We Made” that’d be great; I’m currently working on/updating that one so I’d love to hear your thoughts. Haha, I hear you on the reminder apps. @gideoneaston Haha, of course! Thanks for the compliments on my book. A feedback enchange sounds great! Actually, I have finals next week and them I'm going on a much needed vacation for three weeks, so I'll be back and active mid-june. Can we do the feedback exchange then? I want to be able to provide good and thought-out advice which I won't be able to do atm. I'll add your book to my reading list as well (which one would you like me to do?) and I'll reach out to you again in mid-june so we can get that started, if that sounds alright with you. @leylabreme Hi, Leyla! I usually don't accept read requests but thank you for leaving a personalized message rather than spam! Your book sounds awesome and I love the cover as well. My reading list is packed at the moment, but I often do feedback exchanges with other writers where we'll read each other's stories and offer feedback, constructive crit, etc. If this is what you're looking for I'd love to do an exchange with you, though it may be a little while before I can read new books. I could add your book to my library though and start reading as soon as I get through my current reading commitments. Does that sound okay to you?
