Oh I just looked at your profile, I cannot imagine losing an entire novel.  My computer crashed about a year ago, and I lost some chapters to a vampire thing I was writing, and it still crushes me every time I think of it.  I just can't seem to get those rewritten where I am as happy with them.  I wish you the best with the writer's block and sympathize so much!
