Creativity needs to be cajoled, even tricked to drag itself out of the hole. These little projects allow me to stay creative, and force me to see things differently. I've always liked good stories, but knowing one even before it hits you in the hindquarters does not necessarily equate to an ability to spin a good yarn. Still, that's something to aspire for.
