Authors often say that engaging with readers is one of the most gratifying aspects of their career. And while authors provide readers with entertainment, information, and an escape from reality, readers provide authors with an audience, word-of-mouth exposure, and support. Since readers fuel an author’s expression and success, how can a writer thank them for supporting their work? I have come a long way in fostering a relationship with my readers and maintaining a dedicated readership. And I have been brainstorming ideas on how to communicate gratitude for supporting me and Hayden throughout our journey together. After seven years of planning and ten more years of writing, I have finally finished posting my entire series (and is ready for everyone to read here on wattpad). The feeling is incredible. Let me be honest. The incredible feeling also includes tremendous sadness, sorrow, and dejection. Because I'm in love with the characters, plot, setting everything, and I wish more people come and join me in the entire journey of my five fictional kids. I promised to revisit them soon with a better frame of mind, and after gaining more experience at writing, but for now, I feel as if I have nothing else to do anymore, the similar feeling I always get whenever I finished watching an awesome show or a breathtaking anime. Sure, writing a book can get tedious at times. But you won’t believe me, I was never a procrastinator (apart from the fact that I had to take breaks occasionally due to the intrusion of my awesome family). I worked hard on it without expecting revenues. I worked on it just for the sake of my soul's happiness. I love my series and gosh, I completed it. Let me take a moment to feel proud of myself. Thank you so much to those who have read my series. I would have never been able to complete it without you all. Hugs and Kisses!
