with the exclusion of bellamy blake, i’ve never once read a fanfic for the love interest. it’s always for the found family vibes. genuinely couldn’t care who the main character dates (as long as they’re not like shane walsh or something bc ??) i just want the siblings & parental bonds.

reminder that the algorithm (here and tiktok) is very particular and generally unfair, the numbers your stories have often don’t reflect the content, i know it’s disheartening to work hard on something and get such little acknowledgement, but please don’t take it as a personal thing.
also (and i’m guilty of this myself) comparing yourself to longstanding writers & stories isn’t fair on yourself either. wattpad popularity has diminished significantly from a few years ago.
