Hi everyone!
          
          Just a heads up that I've published the first revised chapter of Keeping A Straight Face here on Wattpad! 
          
          It's been years since I last wrote something and I keep finding myself coming back to this manuscript. I wrote this book way back in 2016 - and I know it's rough. Despite the accolades this book has garnered, there are some wacky plotlines (I'm looking at YOU, Bella), some dated aspects, and of course some icky plotlines and tropes that I really don't align with anymore. So, I've made it my personal mission to fully edit and revise this book in the hopes of sending it off to a publishing house one day! 
          
          Don't worry - this version of the manuscript will remain here on Wattpad. I want both versions to sit here so I can see where both are going great, and where both are falling short. 
          
          Please, if you end up reading the revised version, let me know what you think. Your input, thoughts, and more will help guide my writing, and it's all so encouraging to hear people actually want to read my stuff.

So, I may have spent a good chunk of the last few weeks rewriting Keeping A Straight Face. Don’t worry - the version you all know and love will be here to stay, but would anyone like me to start posting the new version here?
          
          It’s aged up (set in university, not highschool) heavily edited (the og version on here I wrote in highschool with no writing experience, while this new version has YEARS of experience, a uni degree in writing, and more supporting it) and just that bit more spicy.

          Just read your book Keeping A Straight Face and I loved reading it.
          Well can I ask you from where do you get inspiration to write? 

Baby steps. For about a year now, that all I've been doing. Some weeks, I'd manage to write chapter upon chapter. Other weeks, I could barely find the motivation to edit a sentence. 
          
          But, that's all changing now. 2024 will be my comeback year to this app. I started sharing edited versions of Keeping A Straight Face with friends and colleagues and it's reinvigorated my passion for writing. I miss crafting captivating stories, I miss the characters I've written, I miss seeing and hearing from all of you (I see your comments, votes, and more in my notifications tab, but it's not the same as being active on here, reading stories and making friends)
          
          The point of this announcement; watch this space. Big things are coming! See you all in 2024 (or earlier, if I can get my sh*t together!)
