this is a controversial opinion… but the whole “book aesthetic” thing is so tired. like. it’s so 2020 - people are legitimately beating that horse to death and then BACK TO LIFE. seriously. it was cute during quarantine but now it’s getting really old.
the theme and aesthetic and that other shïte are a total waste of time. focus on your characters and the plot, because those are the most memorable and important aspects of the story. that’s not to say you can’t have a pretty cover, because that’s what draws people to the story, but it’s just so rage inducing to see people spend hours on stuff that just gets scrolled past anyway.
this is all my personal opinion, at the end of the day. idk. writing is hard enough - why make it more complicated?

@reald0naldtrump_ yea especially casting lmao I think that it is kinda pointless I mean when it comes to OG characters I'll make them up in my mind anyway, I actually enjoy when OG characters are developed focused on psychological aspects rather than physical But I agree, writing is hard enough so people should do whatever feels right/useful on their creative process
