Whoa… A long track tornado passed by about 1.5 mile (2.5 km) to the west of our house. Lots of damage, I hear, and I fear there will be casualties.

@Aunt_Beany2  We were sheltered in our safe place (an interior closet), and fortunately, suffered no damage. Others were not so lucky. A friend of my wife and his wife are in a Tulsa hospital intensive care unit fighting for their lives after the same tornado flattened their home.

After making a few corrections, I submitted the story "Mars Needs Women" to the Open Novella Contest for the final time. We'll see how far it goes. The wordcount ended up just shy of 30k. Thanks much to everyone who took time to read it!

The last chapter and an epilogue for my ONC story, "Mars Needs Women", was just posted. With a degree of satisfaction, it is now marked as complete, although, I will make a few corrections before submitting it for the last time to the ONC.
