Omniscient Duke POV:

"Ma!" Duke yelled as he walked into his moms house

He hadn't seen her in a couple weeks so he thought it would be nice to drop by and see her.

"Xavier!?" His mother called out and he chuckled as she ran to him hugging him tightly

The hug lasted a couple seconds before he was smacked in the back of the head making him wince

"Ma!" He exclaimed and she shook her head looking at her son

"Why haven't you came and seen me in 3 weeks son? You know I be worrying about you." She said and he nodded rubbing the back of his head

"I know I'm sorry ma I just been bu- What! To busy come see your own damn mother!? Xavier I'm gettin sick and tied of ya falling off the face of the worth every month at least send me a message so I can know my last som is okay!" She scolded and he nodded frowning at her last sentence

"I know you right momma I'm sorry ima come see you more. But you good?" He asked and she nodded

"Yeah I'm fine just been in the house. Ooh pastor Reggie asked me to dinner." She said excitedly and he rolled his eyes

"Ma youn needa be goin on no dates." He said matter of factly and she stale faced him

"I'm grown as hell boy! He's nice it's just a date." She replied handing him a plate of pancakes and eggs

"Thanks mama." He smiled and she returned it

"You welcome boy ima go head to sleep I'm pretty tired lock my door when ya leave. I love you son." She said before pecking his cheek and walking upstairs to her bedroom

"I love you to ma!" He yelled back as he finished food getting up and washing his dish

He grabbed a cold water bottle out of the fridge before placing 5 one hundred bills on the counter before exiting the house and making his way home.

"He got hit wit ah silencer but that boy was talkin loud."

"I'm the sneakiest nigga—I steal yo cheese just like ah mouse." He rapped before Siri paused the song reading "Red Heart Red Heart Morgan"

He sucked his teeth throwing his head back before answering the call

"What? You just made my music cut off." He asked and Morgan smacked her lips chuckling

"I can't call you and check up on you?" She asked and he shook his head

"You don't ever call me to check up on me what you want?" He asked getting straight to the point

He didn't see the point in prolonging the conversation with lies and fake emotions and sympathy. He wanted to get straight to the point and off the phone

"Well... now that you bring it up I was wondering if you could lend me- No." He cut her off before she could finish her sentence

"No? Why? Youn even know what I need it for." She said and he shrugged

"Ion need to I know it's gon be some bullshit." He said and she laughed

"It's actually not. I need about 400 to pay my car note and my phone bill." She said and he nodded

"I already gave you money for that last week so what u really need the money fa morgan keep it a buck." He said as he pulled into his driveway parking grabbing his rolling tray from the passenger seat beginning to break his weed down

"I need to go shopping so I can get some clothes for Eisha's birthday weekend." She said and he laughed

"Right so why you ain't just say that in the first place?" He asked and she frowned

"I-I because I knew you wouldn't give it to me if I said that." She truthfully said and he nodded

"Ight bet come ova' do what you do and you got it." He spoke and she squealed

"Okay I'm on my way!" She said before hanging up

"Thot." He laughed as he licked the blunt before getting out of the car and walking into his house

As he sat his keys down his phone rung and he glanced at it seeing "sis🤞🏽"

He picked up the phone answering it hearing Tiara crying

"Yo! Te you good what's goin on?" He asked setting his blunt down and she spoke incoherent words

"Te!" He yelled into the phone and he heard her yelling at someone

"I- come get me please! I can't stay here tonight he's to fucking much— No! No! Leave me alone Ky please leave me alone." She cried and he shook his head

"Te what the fuck is goin on talk to me." He said and she breathed out

"We got into an argument and he won't leave me the hell alone! I just wanna be left alone right now and he won't do— I don't care! I'm done arguing! It's like talking to a brick wall with him please just come get me." She spoke and he nodded

"Ight ima be ova' thea pack a spend the night back and tell him to calm the fuck down before I rough em up." He said and she said "okay thanks" before hanging up

"Tired of this shit..." He mumbled sighing

He regretted ever putting Kyro on with Tiara because now that there relationship was going down he had to pick up the pieces and he was the one that the two would vent to.

He honestly didn't know who was right or wrong.

Sometimes Kyro was in the wrong and sometimes Tiara was but they always expected him to pick sides and it was impossible and always put him in a weird spot.

He loved the two with his whole heart. He knew them both since sandbox days but now everything was just different and he didn't know how to take it.

He missed when everything was simple and there wasn't any toxicity going on

He didn't think that they were bad for each other. He just thought they needed to communicate and stop sweeping problems under the rug because they always blew up in their face everytime.

They had underlying issues and things that they were still holding against each other from the past because they never talked about it.

He picked up his keys before shooting Morgan a quick text

Never mind youn gotta slide thru ima send it thru for you.

Then he hopped in his car rushing to Tiara and Kyros home to pick her up but he would never be prepared for what was waiting for him.

"What the fuck happened!"
