As I unpacked my things, I noticed that Aiden wasn't sitting down. "Why aren't you sitting down?"

This is the first time we talked since I realized my feelings. I'm trying to keep things calm and normal.

I couldn't help but wonder what was going through his head as a teasing smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. "Come on, let's go do it somewhere else today," he said, his eyes gleaming.

"Miller, what are you-" Before I could finish my sentence, he took hold of my hands and gently guided me further into the library. His touch sent a shiver down my spine, and I felt a light blush creeping onto my face. Since when did I become so flustered by his touch?

"Where are we going?"

"It's somewhere further into the library, I found recently. Come on."

I never realized how large the library was until we moved farther inside. We arrived at a quiet spot, a comfortable reading nook nestled away from the main path.

This place looked like a hidden gem and provided a place for people who wanted a peaceful escape within the library's walls. It is adorned with cozy floor chairs, soft lighting, and some greenery.

I couldn't help but notice the dim lighting in the room. "It seems a little dark in here," I remarked, attempting to break the ensuing silence.

"It's because this place is tucked away, and it's pretty dark outside right now," Aiden explained, his voice calm.

I took a quick peek around while grinning slightly. "I like it; it's nice," I said, taking in the cozy atmosphere.

"I knew you would," he replied softly, his eyes meeting mine for a second before I quickly glanced away.

"So this is our last session," I muttered, fidgeting with the bracelet on my wrist. Why was I suddenly feeling so nervous?

He shifted closer to me, inching towards me with a gentle confidence. "It is"

"To be honest, I'm kind of going to miss this, just a bit," I confessed, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Just a bit, huh?" he smiled. "Yes, just a bit," I smiled in return.

Aiden crossed his arms. "Well, I'll admit that I'm going to miss it a lot."

"You are?"

"I am. I guess hearing your complaints and insults is something that I'm going to miss," he said with a hint of sincerity in his voice.

I gave him a quick glance, feeling a rush of emotions. "Okay, I'm going to be totally honest, and I know you'll use this against me in the future, but," I waited a moment, noticing a sneer appear on his lips. "I will miss spending time with you like this. much more than I had anticipated."

"I knew you would, and I'm definitely going to use this against you in the future, Thompson."

I rolled my eyes. "Of course you are." He then shifted closer to me. How close was he going to get?

"I'm going to ask you a question, and you have to be completely honest with me, Thompson. Alright?"

"I'll try."
