IN THE MIDST of the undying war between the Three Kings, a pact was made to divide the world in two-folds: hunger and death.

Carved from the bottom of Zeimrada with no form of nobility or wealth, Leon dreams of the hidden ones as he sees things that he is not allow to see but his mind hangs there in the abyss, driven by madness. But when he was framed for an atrocity he did not commit, he was sent to the no-man's land to cut down the devil's kingdom and the war.

But there were two things that the Zeimar empire had kept from him; becoming a devil was one thing and stealing the forest was another. Nevertheless, he cannot keep his end of his deal when everything he once knew was consumed by the decaying matter, bleeding in a sea of red and black.

Only then does he remembered the pious and devout are bound to be consumed when the trench devils wakes from their slumber. And corruption will always feeds onto souls when one tempers with hunger.

To those who are new and just reading, hello! This work is by far my longest running project, an idea I wrote as a short story turned into a full-length novel. I completed the rough draft in 2019 which is hard to believe I could even accomplish it in the first place.

To my old readers, I want to say thank you for your support and honestly being here. This version you are currently seeing is the second draft and I'm excited to share this process and journey all over again!

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and events are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

Since this book is mature, there will be violent depictions including psychological and body horror, mentions of trauma, death, and drug uses. In addition, themes of slight sexual depictions will emerge in the story. These things I will write a warning before each chapters or what I consider necessary action.
