I've been looking so long at these pictures of you
That I almost believe that they're real
I've been living so long with my pictures of you
That I almost believe that the pictures are all I can feel

Remembering you standing quiet in the rain
As I ran to your heart to be near
And we kissed as the sky fell in, holding you close
How I always held close in your fear
Remembering you running soft through the night
You were bigger and brighter and wider than snow
You screamed at the make-believe, screamed at the sky
And you finally found all your courage to let it all go

Sébastien was sitting outside of his father's room, listening to the music play. It was one of his and his mother favorite songs.

Remembering you, fallen into my arms
Crying for the death of your heart
You were stone white, so delicate
Lost in the cold
You were always so lost in the dark
Remembering you how you used to be
Slow drowned, you were angels
So much more than everything
Hold for the last time then slip away quietly
Open my eyes, but I never see anything

If only I'd thought of the right words
I could have held on to your heart
If only I'd thought of the right words
I wouldn't be breaking apart all my pictures of you

He could faintly hear his father crying, and he wanted to go inside and comfort him, but he couldn't. His dad would only ignore him.

Looking so long at these pictures of you
But I never hold on to your heart
Looking so long for the words to be true
But always just breaking apart
My pictures of you

He slightly flinched as he heard something breaking before his dad shouted, throwing more things,

There was nothing in the world that I ever wanted more
Than to feel you deep in my heart
There was nothing in the world that I ever wanted more
Than to never feel the breaking apart
My pictures of you

Tears slid down Sébastiens face as he heard his dad sobbing.

"I'm sorry, dad,"

Sébastien stood up and rushed into his room, closing the door behind him, it slammed shut , and he took deeps breaths,

Headlights, pain, darkness,

Sébastien shook his head, "hey! " he jumped as his father rushed in, looking angry, he looked around but whatever he was looking for, he couldn't find it ,

Voices, hands, headlights, pain, darkness

"Dad, sorry I slammed the door,I didn't mean too, are you okay?" Sébastien question,

His dad walked over to his closet, opening it and looking inside, he looked everywhere were someone could hide,

"Dad? What are you doing?" Sébastien asked, "come on just talk to me!"

"Dad! Stop!" Sébastien and his father turn to the lamp that fell from the drawer next to Sébastiens bed,

"Sébastien?" His father question, "that wasn't me dad, I was standing over here," Sébastien said,

"Sébastien? Oh god, I'm sorry, I was just making sure those damm boys weren't in here again. " his father said, picking up the lamp, "dad? " Sébastien question,

"I never liked those boys, they were always around, they were very touchy with you, I hated it, I know those boys are up to something, I can just feel it,"  his father continued

"Dad, billy and stu aren't up to anything okay? They were always touchy, ever since we were kids," Sébastien told him

"I failed you Sébastien," his father finished and Sébastien sighs, "dad, you didn't fail me okay? "

"I'm sorry Sébastien, I love you kiddo," his father said, before walking out the room,

"I love you too dad," Sébastien said, watching as his father left closing the door behind him,

He let out a small smile, "at least he talked to me," he mumbled to himself ,

Sébastien chuckled to himself, "he still loves me, "

He happily dropped himself on his bed, with a smile on his face , "yes!"
