It is time for mortal kombat. Of course this tournament would be hosted by Shang Tsung on his island. When Raiden and co arrived it was almost time for the tournament to begin.
The warriors gathered in the courtyard. Outworld warriors and earthrealm warriors, all here with similar goals.
Mileena and Y/n noticed each other and exchanged quick glances.
The first match was Johnny cage vs Baraka. Which Johnny cage won.
Shang Tsung: For our next and final match of the day. Y/n vs Motaro.
Raiden: Be careful Y/n.
Y/n: I will.
Y/n and Motaro stepped forward and squared off.
The match ended quickly with Y/n as the victor.
Shang: Finish him!
Y/n ignored him and walked back to his friends.
Shang: Even now you lack the spine to kill.
Johnny cage went next then after that Shang Tsung called it a night.
Y/n met with Mileena in secret.
Y/n noticed that Mileena had a new outfit. (Basically mkx outfit instead of mk9)
Y/n: I see you decided to change outfits.
Mileena got nervous.
Mileena: I-I could also change back if you like.
Y/n: No-no. I like it.
Mileena: Sorry. I just never really went out normally in clothes like this. I was worried you wouldn't like it.
Y/n: You're beautiful to me, no matter what you wear.
Mileena hugged him and he hugged back.
Mileena: To think that this tournament is an excuse to see each other. Funny isn't it? I have to fight to invade you're realm, and you have to fight to defend it.
Y/n: I guess that can't be helped. At least I get to see you.
Mileena: It's been a rough year hasn't it?
Y/n: Yeah. But we got through it, as we will get through this tournament.
Mileena: I hope so. You stay alive okay?
Y/n: Only if you stay alive too.
Mileena: It's a deal.
Y/n and Mileena shared a kiss. They then parted and went back to their own quarters for the night. The next morning the tournament was in full swing. Warriors from both earthrealm and outworld fighting.
However it was Y/n's turn once more, and someone else's.
Shang Tsung smirked.
Shang: Y/n vs Mileena.
Y/n and Mileena went wide eyed.
They stepped forward and faced off.
Y/n eyes changed as he took a deep breath and readied himself.
Mileena nodded at him and teleported behind him. Y/n blocked her strike and backed up.
Y/n stayed on the defensive, blocking blow after blow.
The fight was only seemingly evenly matched, in reality both fighters weren't using their normal strength.
Mileena went for a kick which Y/n blocked, he had to find a way to win this fight without hurting her as much as possible.
