if i made my arms
my bare canvas
and painted them
all day long?

if i left you one day,
to try and find the real me,
only for me to know
that you have killed it already?

if one day i just disappear
from the face of the earth
and into the deepest of oceans, you can't find anywhere?

if the canvas gets filled up to the point
the previous strokes aren't even visible
and the pain kills me day by day, but would you care?
would you care?
if i told you one day,
"i loved you,
but you left me,
now watch me darling,
watch me leave,
but when i drown
promise me
that even when i'm not visible and drowning in the deepest of seas,
you won't come, but only watch me leave."

i wrote this poem thinking of nothing.
like most of the other times, i had the last line in my mind, so i wrote it pretty quickly.
this poem is about a person who isn't able to understand the person around them, and the other person is tired of it, so they tell them to not save them if they die.
i like this poem because it kind of describes my life.
