"It was rude." I complain and she chuckles.

"Maybe he feel threatened by friend." Mei shrugs her old shoulders. I sigh and shake my head.

"Maybe, but that didn't give him the reason to talk to Dom about it like that. I don't know."

"Okay let's not ruin great tea, okay?" She picks the tea cup up and pours the sage green tea into my small little cup for me.

"Thank you, Ms Lui." I take a tiny sip and feel it burn against the tip of my tongue. "Tastes really nice."

It's one of those teas that didn't need sugar because it was naturally sweet. I watch her drop one cube of sugar into her cup and stir the golden teaspoon around. We sit in a warm, comfortable silence, enjoying the tea and warmth spreading through our fingers.

This is a great way to start my morning. The waves pushing against each other and racing to reach shore. They dissapear into the sand and the processes starts all over. It's calming. It's serene. It lulls my mind and makes me appreciate this scenery.

I joined Mei this morning just to see her and check on her. She was actually doing great, her store was full of customers. Her business is doing well and she has a bright smile on her withered and wrinkled face.

"How have you been doing?" She asked me.

"Very good. One of my best friends is pregnant and her stomach just started showing." I share and her smile got brighter.

"How far along is she?"

"Close to a month, I'm not sure."

"Of course you don't know." She chuckles. "I remember I was pregnant with Theo, blessing disguised as nightmare."

I laugh with her. "Why would you say that?"

"Oh back then, I was skinny and couldn't hold baby properly. My back was in pain." She continued to laugh with me. A tear rolled from her eye and I wiped it away.

"I'm glad I don't get pregnant. I couldn't imagine dealing with half of the things woman face." I sip on the warm tea. It settles down my throat and bubbles a small fire.

"Oh its not bad. If you look at good side, it will conquer bad side."

"Imagine if your girlfriend had baby." She sighs dreamily.

My mind starts to picture a life with Lorelai. Her being pregnant and having mood swings. Her face contortions into anger and frustration. I feel my pants get restricted. Very tightly, the more I think of an angry Lorelai.
