Author Note: This will be my last note here but I did have a lot of explanations in my other account in case anyone found some events confusing. Anyway, thank you everyone for tolerating my stories.

Chapter 2: Gaining Alliance

"Oyaji?" Marco watched with his arms crossed, unsure what to make of her character. Just a moment ago she insulted them and now she is siding with them? A spy implanted by the navy? They were capable of orchestrating an act so it wasn't that far fetched. "Should I tell them to take her down yoi?"

The older man face's stayed unfazed although Marco can sense a slight shift in his posture. His father wouldn't possible think she meant what she said. There were so many inconsistencies with her story. Like how she asked where they were. Who comes to Marineford not knowing they are in Marineford? The Gate of Justice doesn't open up for anybody so she proved she is a liar. A lot of outsiders wanted his father dead and he had no doubt she was among them. If she wasn't with the navy then she's a pirate or a bounty hunter. "It's better to take care of her now before she becomes a threat yoi."

His father was a wise man, worthy of leading so when he gave him a simple order, Marco kept quiet despite his mistrust. "Just let her be."

Now that Sakura Haruno royally screwed up, she needed to find a way to work with the pirates. She wasn't planning on joining this war as enemies to BOTH. They wanted to save Ace and since she thought his execution is injustice it meant she had the same motive as them therefore, they were accomplices by default. Although their reputation was the lowest of the low, she was capable of separating emotions from her mission.

Sakura took a few steps backward from her ambushers to take in her surroundings. These people didn't have chakra but she could feel similar energy coming from them as konoha's civilians. Sakura won't say she was as good as Karin, her recent friend, when it came to sensory abilities but she could detect fifty thousand people when she concentrated hard enough. She bet they are more than she actual decoded. A whole nation were assembled in this war and her brain couldn't wrap around the fact that none of the five nations are involved. How was it possible when they were among the biggest population in the whole world? Something wasn't adding up here but since they were civilians, they should be harmless.

...

..

.

Sakura was wrong. Very wrong. She never had to swallow her foolishness faster than she did now. These people weren't harmless and she learned that the hard way...

"Dracula Mihawk!" All focus turned to a man they called part of the royal Shichibukai. His presence was enough to make people wary of him.

Sakura tensed up, the man's hair was covered up by a hat, rocking a short beard, moustache, and upward sideburns.

"Huh, what's this? You're gonna fight now?" Doflamingo sneered, enjoying this turn of events.

"I merely wish to measure..." Mihawk narrowed his yellow bulleyes, hand bending backwards to grab the hilt of his sword. "To see for myself... the true distance between us and that man."

He swung it, a green light rapidly slid down the ice, debris flying out as it headed towards Sakura. Her breath hitched at her throat from how fast it was traveling, almost blinding her from seeing anything. She almost got hit by it if she didn't jump out just in time to miss it. Her body rolled down the ice, palms slamming down to put herself to a stop.
