9:10am

It was 9 o' clock in the morning and these kids were already being so loud.

"I don't see how they have this much energy" I said throwing my hoodie on

"Right" Mariyah agreed

We had just gotten to school because of our late arrival so we were just wandering the halls to kill time before our next class starts.

"Man I'm so sick of school, so ready to graduate"

"Heavy on the sick of school" I said yawning

"But Ki don't you ever be thinking that these people we've grown up with all these years, we'll probably never see them again"

"YES and that scares me so much like we're really about to be the next new adults"

Mariyah laughed, "We ain't gonna be shit"

"I'm saying, we about to be fucking everything up" I said laughing

As I was laughing I felt a tap on my shoulder. "I swear it better not be this little boy" I thought to myself

I turned around with a mug on my face to see it was Budda and Khalil, but only Khalil was standing further back with his hood on and red puffy eyes

Cmon now it's 9 in the morning and you out here smoking

"Budda I don't have no problem with you but i'm not going to talk to you as long as he's around"

"It'll only be a few minutes"

"Boy didn't I— you know what"

I grabbed Mariyah's arm and pulled her away from them and headed towards the library because I know they won't come in here anyways.

"I literally told him I don't want him around me and the nigga gonna respond and say "It'll be a few minutes" boy get out my face with that"

Mariyah was just laughing at the whole interaction

" I can't stand these Niggas"

"Niggas ain't shit" She said shrugging

"And you wanna know what else blew me"

"What?"

"Khalil ass just standing in the back and probably was gonna let Budda do all the talking for him like move around with that"

"Right, it's like he expecting for all this to just go away as soon as he apologies or something" Mariysh said.

"That part" I said sighing, opening the library doors

"People are just so weird" I heard Riyah say while chuckling

Most definitely and it just have to be the fine ones

We walked over towards the scanner and scanned  ourselves in with our ids and sat over on the vision couch, I pulled out my AirPods and turned on How by Ella Mai and just closed my eyes to ease myself as Riyah pulled out a book for her to read
