When God sent Lucifer down to hell many believed he was the first to roam within the cursed land. No, the truth was that another creature has lived in it before Lucifer had. When God created hell he didn't plan to have Lucifer become ruler of the place. He created a creature to be Lucifer's eternal torment as punishment for revolting against the creator's will, but as fate would happen after a gruesome battle both were weakened drastically. Lucifer had over powered the creature by a smidge of luck and was prominently locked within the deepest pit of hell and was never released. Many upon many centuries later an accident occurs when an imp goes adventuring within the pits.
