Review:
Actually it deserved 3/5 but I can't stand the story. The characters are too braindead. ML and MC are actually OP but maybe for the sake of conflict they would become stupid.
MC transmigrate to ancient time. She has birthmark on her face, already married ML and have a son. OMC love other man but the man broke his promise so OMC drown herself in river, ML saved her then OMC forced ML to marry her. OMC grandmother always abuse OMC mother and younger sister while her father never cared. After MC replaced OMC, she took care her son, got close to ML, save her younger sister and mother. Author keep saying MC grandmother abuse MC mother because if not other villagers will mock MC father who didn't have son. Even after so much abuse and near death, MC mother still forgive MC father and grandmother. MC mother know that MC is not her own daughter and her real daughter already dead. This really irk me, MC repeatedly save her mother, younger sister, father after got beaten. Then she didn't do anything. She didn't try to punish the grandmother or at least pressure her. So the grandmother and other villain will repeatedly frame, provoke, kill MC. After they were found out, then MC and ML just let them be. For example they frame MC killing a cow from her bestfriend family, and accuse her as demon. They repeatedly want to dip MC in pig cage. After they found out that it was killed by MC aunt, it just resolved, oh ok you pay with another cow. That's it. Did ML or MC ever retaliate or trying to punish the villains? Nope never. Even after MC mother died in fire which lit by ML enemy, MC got angry, cried and swear for revenge. After that a lot of other conflicts and no more about the revenge. They didn't even investigate who burn it. I don't mind a tenacious villains who keep appear repeatedly but I never like if they never got punished and get away easily.
Beside that the story should be okay. I can't stand the plot so I stopped reading midway and jumped to the end. Seems like the end is rushed, ML enemy rebel and kill the emperor, not sure who is the new emperor or the previous emperor still alive. ML come to the rescue and kill the rebel. Then he escape with MC back to the village. The end.
