A/n: The funniest thing about writing this story is when I write "romantic" scenes and suddenly remember that all of the phantoms are in masks and that Bronwen can only see parts of their faces. Fueling those mask kinks I guess. ¯\(◉‿◉)/¯

I was applying my makeup for the ball when there was a knock on my door. I turned my head towards it in confusion. "Come in," I called out. I watched as the door was opened and a maid entered.

She walked over to me and held a letter out. She also had a box in her other hand. "For you, my lady," she explained. I eyed the note in curiosity before taking it in my hands.

I turned back around to my dressing table. "Thank you. Please leave the box on my bed," I said to her. In the mirror, I watched her bow before she left the room and shut the door behind her. I slid my painted nail under the opening of the envelope and tore it. I pulled the letter out and unfolded it.

I nearly rolled my eyes at the man's antics. Not only did he send me a letter, he wrote "sincerely yours?" How silly. I let a small laugh leave my lips. Or maybe... no. Was that his agenda, making me laugh?

I paused as I reread the letter. He called me "Mora." I've never been called that. It was beautiful. I smiled. He's so cheesy. I set the letter on my table and went back to finishing my makeup, shaking my head.

I hummed the tune of Scarborough Fair as I added the final touches before putting my appliances down and staring at myself in the mirror. I decided that I looked decent enough so I stood up and walked over to my bed. I lifted the lid of the box and a beautiful crimson gown was presented. I gasped, dropping the top.

I picked up the dress and held it in front of me. It was stunning! Adonis got this for me? I felt my cheeks burn and I held the gown against my chest. I let out a sharp breath of air.

Without a thought, I quickly changed out of the dress I was already in and slid the new one on. It fit so snuggly and it was pretty comfy compared to the one I was previously wearing.
